Welcome! My name is Gina Aristarco, and I am a Marketing Coordinator & Media Planner in the process of relocating from New York City to Philadelphia, PA. I am currently working remotely out of my hometown in Haddon Township, NJ.


Past employers would describe me as a goal-oriented design thinker, motivated employee, and overall driver in my working and social styles.


My experience in marketing includes Media Planning, Event Coordination, and Brand Partnerships. I have had the pleasure of working at ViacomCBS for over 2 years, collaborating on various marketing campaigns from a wholistic 360 degree view across MTV, VH1, and CMT.

KEY CAMPAIGNS: MTV VMAs, MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS, THE HILLS: NEW BEGINNINGS, SIESTA KEY

  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic marketing plans for all assigned shows including but not limited to developing media briefs, ideating and approving marketing plans, and trafficking and delivering final marketing assets.

  • Coordinate with various internal departments such as Promos, Design, Social and Press in order to create and deliver all creative assets for all media campaigns.

  • Create and manage interdepartmental documents including Creative Deliverables Charts, Master One Sheets, and Trafficking Charts to effectively execute all paid media assets.

  • Assist in the research and development of various on-the-ground events including the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards and SnowGlobe Music Festival 2018.

KEY CAMPAIGNS: MTV SPRING BREAK 2019, VIDCON 2019, SPARTAN RACE X THE CHALLENGE 2019 PARTNERSHIP

  • Full cycle event development for show premieres and tentpoles within the MTV, VH1, and CMT brands including the 2019 MTV VMAs, 2019 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, and SPARTAN RACE x THE CHALLENGE 2019

  • Co-lead the ideation and overall execution of brand partnerships including MTV’s first-to-market brand partnerships with Spartan Races and SoulCycle.

  • On-the-ground management of MTV’s first international Spring Break since 2014.

  • Project manage various internal departments such as Special Events, Integrated Marketing, and Brand Creative in order to execute all event needs and creative requests for live events.

  • Create overview decks to organize and manage all ongoing event needs in pre-production as well as recapping events in a post-mortem breakdown to continue learning best practices for future events.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation

April 2018

The JSFV media plan generated huge buzz & awareness across TV, Digital/Social, Radio and OTG.


The premiere was the #1 cable program in the 8-9pm time slot among MTV's core demographic, racking up the highest ratings on air in 6 years.


Strategic media planning and execution encouraged new & younger fans to join the party with loud & splashy OTG placements including The Jersey Shore Meatball Truck which served the fans of NYC.
